Opinion on wheels off of CraigsList..

Alright guys I'm about due for a set of new tires so I figured I'd hunt up a set of 18's to get new tires for.. Here are a few sets I've found on CraigsList in my area.

Here's a pic the way my car sits now and I plan on lowering it 1.5 inch with the basic Teins.

Here are the links to the wheels. I am open to ANY type of opinion, negative and positive.

I'm really liking the Konig's.. but the girlfriend does not lol

I like the Konigs too (#1). For your color car, I also like the gunmetal wheels (#3).

Ah yes I'm torn between those two. As you can see I'm trying to stay pretty cheap and not too concerned on color as I have painted my stockies. The middle set came off of like a 95 MR2 and their pattern is 4x100 but the dude said they are universal.. I was kind of wanting to stay away from anything with a solid center cap but I do like the style in a way.

Tough decision.. I've talked the guy down to $300 for the Konig's and have not contacted the others any more.

I'm feeling the 3rd set.. they haven't been curbed and look really good on the guy's CL. $300 cash with tires.. but the tires will need to be replaced.

The 3rd set look good on the picture where they are mounted on the car. The original pics in you post had me thinking the spokes were too narrow and I thought the 1st set looked the best of the group. But the 3rd set look good and for the price you can't go wrong

I'd go for the 3rd set if that means your girlfriend will still like you.

Haha yes, as long as the girlfriend still likes me. I was going to go pick them up yesterday but a few things came up that prevented me from doing so. So I'm hoping to get them later in the week, and hopefully he still has them and will come off the price lol

I thought our stock rims were 7.5" wide? Anyway, I went with the 3rd set. Here's a pic I took right after I got them on. They look chrome in the picture, but I'm really pleased with them.

Yes I need some spacers.. but not sure what size to go with? I'm assuming the previous owner of the car had some big wheels on it because my fenders have been half-ass rolled...

Id powdercoat the same as your body color. AM ?
It looks good with your stockies and Im really diggin the NuStealth look that your sportin.

I Got a SSM with a-spec and I was thinkin about powdercoatin my stockies (or any aftermarket wheel that I get) the same gray as the accent pieces of the A-spec kit.

Nice avatar by the way.

Thanks on the avatar comment and I loved my stockies painted like that, I just wanted something a little bigger for when I go with a drop. I'll have these powder coated on down the road I'm sure, or I'll paint them. I get bored with things easily so it won't be long lol but what is "NuStealth"

If I had gotten the Konig's, the girlfriend would've disowned me. I honestly thought about having them powder coated black and redoing my headlights to black. Just going black anything and everything.. (I've been watching too much Rob & Big) lol BUT reality check! I'd like to see them photoshopped AM, anyone hook me up on this if I supply a better picture? I suck at PS

is the prices shown per wheel? of for the whole set? if per wheel, then get brand new rims, if it's for the set, then.... get brand new rims. IMO. I would rather keep my stock's then get some badly worn, dirty, and not-that-good-looking set of wheels. I don't like any of them, but if someone had a gun to my head, I would pick 3... i guess.

The price was per set. I bought the 3rd set and they are in immaculate condition. No curbage, scratches etc. I don't even know if the guy mounted them on his car or not lol Well worth the money IMO.

I hate the look of being lowered on stockies though, I feel as if I'd be impersonating one of the local douched out civics that cut their springs in half as soon as they get the car. I'm satisfied with them, for now, I just need some spacers.. and I've really been contemplating on having them powder coated a low glass black.
