Offset modification?
Offset modification?
Hello guys. i had a quick question about wheel offsets. I have had me 19" TSW Nardo's for over a year now. Before i ordered them i stalked this site looking at staggered setups, ath the tire sizes, offsets and what not. I saw a lot of you who ran a 9.5" rear wheel went with a 40 offset and a 275/30/r19.
My problem is when i ordered my wheels the guy covinced me i needed a 35 offset not 40. I told him about the many of storys and examples that i was on here and he said he'd put these wheels on my car before and had no problems. well this wasnt true. i recived me wheels, had the tires mounted then installed them, and they rubbed.
Anyone know if i can modify the offset?

if you are running a 275 rear tire that just really wide on a TL it works on some tl's but i think you probably should stuck with a 255 in the rear and it would have been fine.... my suggestion is just take it to a shop to have the rear fenders rolled some that would help the rubbing and save any issues with shaving the back of the rims
