Non-matching tires question

I know I made a thread about this before but I got a great deal on some tires. Two Conti DWS in 245/45/17 for $10 for the set (8/32 tread). I found another Conti DWS in 245/45/17 for $15, it has about 9/32 tread left (new pretty much) and found another Conti (unknown what kind) 245/45/17 with about 7/32 tread left for $15.

My question is would putting that one 7/32 tread tire with the 9/32 tire have any problems? The matching contis will be going up front.

I am getting these mounted and balanced at walmart (lol). Its the cheapest place I have found. $5 to mount the tire+$6 for the lifetime balance. $44 is not bad for all four.

The current tires on my car suck. I have bald OEM pirelli 235/45/17 in the front and new cooper 225/55/17 in the back. My car has a alignment problem.....it pulls to the right. The steering wheel shakes at 60mph+. The TPMS don't work either, gives me a "system error". I should have never traded my stockies for these type-s rims....oh well.....story for another day.

What is the best place to get an alignment done for a good price? I don't care for the "hunter road" or whatever its called. I don't think that makes a big difference......should I get only the "front alignment" done? The honda dealer had a special running for $70 for full wheel alignment....I am trying to pay around $40-$50.

I got neuspeed sport springs waiting to be installed, its a 1.75/1.5 drop. They have mileage on them so they are settled....would I need an alignment after these go on?

Thanks, looking forward to hearing some advice.

The slight difference in tread depth will not present any problems, but the you'll need a 4 wheel alignment as the rear needs to have the toe set properly to avoid unusual wear. I'd wait, install the springs then take it in for the alignment.

Put the matched set on the front...."hunter road force" is a balancer, not an alignment. Put the springs on, then get it aligned. Good luck.

Ya know, if you squeeze that penny hard enough it'll bleed.
