Noisy Suspension

Having a problem with the front driver side wheel making a creaking noise when turning the wheel (stationary and reversing)
It makes a noise of like someone is opening a really old door and clicking
Acura suggested it's the brake pads when i reverse out slow dragging the brake and turning the steering wheel to the left
Others sources tells me that it can be the ball joint
I did a service on the brakes because i haven't done it for a while and the noise is gone so far but i am not sure if it's only a temporary fix.
Anyone have advice on this problem?

what kind of service on the brakes did you do?
Turn the wheel all the way and start to drive forward- click click click is the cv- axle bearing
requires replacement of axle shaft- stub axle. all the same thing- a new unit ready to bolt on.
