I guess it depends upon where you live and/or do a lot of driving. If you put 19s on your car and drive down the main drag in Hoboken, you'll probably have bent rims when you get to the other end unless you drive at like 5 mph. Personally 18s are over my self imposed minimums of sidewall height (4") for NYC metro driving in that they sport a sidewall height of 3.66"; upping your wheel size to 19" would drop the sidewall height a further half inch to 3.16".

First of all, this car isn't designed to accommodate 19" wheels. Almost everyone I know with this size (or larger) here in the NYC/NJ area complains about all sorts of underneath damage due to the rough roads, especially those who've lowered their cars. The roads here in the NYC/NJ area are fur shit and 19" wheels and/or lowering the car doesn't cut it. Our cars are designed for wheels that are 17" or 18". Don't mean to be a party pooper here, but facts are facts.
This past Winter, I went through 4 tires damaged because of pot holes. Thank God I had road hazard warranty on all of them. Get a nice set of 18" wheels and call it a day. Then go out and get yourself a set of General GMax AS-05's as they're the best bang for the buck.

It’s lowered where my front tire is almost tucked. Maybe 1.8-1.9...A couple weeks back I tried 245/40. Too wide. Would have to do too much fender rolling and whatnot. Ok, N5000Plus. I have the N7000 now, and it’s discontined, which is why I went with the Nexen N7000Plus. However, they don’t have them in 235/35, which is why I went 245/40, but it wouldn’t fit. So thanks, I’ll look at N5000Plus.

Nexen????? And 19's???
i'm going to guess your age: <24
to answer your question: Michelin, Continental or Bridgestone touring tires. I'm running 245/45R17 for some extra rubber real estate.

Please enlighten me to your correlation with a person’s age and Nexen tires with 19’s? Good for you...that doesn’t fit my car. 235/35R19 only.
