Exclamation Nitto Motivo Tires from ntb.com for 2007 Acura TL Type S

How good are Nitto Motivo Tires from ntb.com for 2007 Acura TL Type S?
Apparently, ntb (national tires and batteries, an automotive store) has this deal of buy two get two free, $135 a pop, but you will have to buy a $130 (minimum) 1 year free wheel alignment to get the deal. So, total is around $550 out of the shop with installation and everything.

I have not heard of nitto motivos. How good are they in wet, rainy condition?
I am from Minnesota, so I would have to drive most of the time in snow.

Apparently, nitto motivos have a good treadwear rating of 540, and mileage rating of 60,000.

Has any one tried nitto motivo on their 2007 Acura TL Type S?
Please help me out.

Yes I ran them for 15k miles on my type s and they are good tires. They handle well in the rain and have a great tread life. If you search in here there are a few threads reviewing them, member deathmetal used them also and loved them. I only switched out because I needed smaller profile tires for my wheel setup. They are the nitto flagship dole and there are also a lot of reviews, tests, and info on tirerack

I actually have that full set of tires, 235/40-18", sitting in my room waiting to post for sale on craigslist and the black market here haha

Thanks sockr1. I was having a real delima, choosing between Continental DSW and Nitto Motivos. So far, I found Continental DSWs better then the Goodyear Eagle All sports and Bridgestone Potenza AS tires. But had never heard of nitto motivos. Apparently, they seem like new tire models.
Specially when there is a buy two get two free with some mandated service to get the deal, something did not sound right.

They are a good bang for your buck for sure. But to be honest, my newest tires are the Bridgestone potenza re970 all seasons and no other tire I've had compares. The bridgestones have a stiff sidewall and handle amazing wet and dry. Lost abut 2 mpgs compared to the nittos but worth it haha.

But back to topic you can't go wrong with the nitto motivos. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions

Actually when I post them for sale I was going to offer to pay half the shipping. Send me a private message if you are interested, just remember these are for 18" wheels

Ive had the Motivo's for a couple months now. So far I have zero issues. They handle well and have been pretty quiet. Snow traction has been pretty good as well.

How did these tires work out for you in the snow and rain last winter? How are they now that you have some mileage into them?

Appreciate the feedback looking at buying a set.

Have about 6k miles on mines and they've been sticky on dry and wet conditions. Been taking 90 degree turns at 40mph and no squeal. Don't know about snow since Houston doesnt experience that powder. When I lived in Colorado though Continental DWS did the job pretty well.
