Got a question for all you guys out there that have put custom wheels on your cars. Have you ever seen on the lip of the rim, where the tire seals against nicks on the surface. I just bought these wheels and already 2 of the 4 leaked around the seat area and now I get a flat tire with the third so they take the tire off to replace the rubber and i find all these nicks. And on top of that the finish is all cracked as well underneat on what i would call the inside of the rim. Now I got the guys doing the tire install telling me that these rims are gonna be problematic with all the nicks and the cracks are gonna rust in no time, and i got the wheel manufacturer telling me he's produced 500 sets and never had a problem and I am stuck in the middle having to send my rims away for probably 2 weeks and having no car . Nothing like spending 4 grand on rims and tires and not being able to use them, real thumbs up there! Any suggestions? Or has anyone else ever seen this?
