New wheel/spacer installation

So I finally got the H&R spacers today. I ordered 5mm, but it said 10mm on the bar code on the box... They are really thin though. Maybe as thick as 3 U.S. Quarters stacked on top of eachother. Anyway, I already installed the rear wheels this morning so they were on. The H&R package came with longer wheel studs, but for the heck of it and being excited like I was I just used the stock wheel studs. They were shorter obviously with the spacers on, but everything seemed to work just fine. Torqued the lugs and everything seems good, so i dropped her down, almost wet myself because it looks so good and rolled it out of the garage. I haven't driven it yet, I figured I'd ask if I'm ok to drive it this way first...? This is probably asked all the time, but I'm just wondering. Thanks! Pics soon.

i want to run a 3 - 5mm spacer up front.. but the whole reason i got my rims, was because i didnt want to use spacers to clear the brembos.... .. but i could use like a good 3-5mm up front to bring it more flush with the fender...

Trust me if you had a 10mm spacer you would not have enough bite for the lugnuts

They come with wheel studs 5mm longer because it is so you remain oem spec

Thinking about getting some spacers so my rims don't look so tucked...

What did you pay for the spacers? I'm having some issues finding them on their site.

not really... it depends what your application is for

wheeladapter.com has a few different variations
1 pair of non hubcentric spacers $80 (may vibrate but for like a 3mm should be fine)
1 pair of hubcentric spacers $130 (works great with stock wheels)
1 pair of hubcentric and wheel centric spacers $170 (Ideal for those of us who rock aftermarket wheels)

Damn thats pricey for plate steel/aluminum! I don't see the point shelling that kind of money out when they can be custom fabricated for much less. Gonna look into this

These spacers are not a plate of aluminum. They have a set of holes to bolt on to the existing lugs and a second set of lugs to bolt your existing lugs to. If you have a plate fabricated, you will need to replace the existing lugs with longer ones, which will end up costing more money in the end.

^ Hmmm I see. Well I'm still going to explore it... I spoke to a shop yesterday. Hopefully something will come out of it!
