New Tires in NY Area
Need to replace my EL42s after 25K miles - 2004 TL Automatic.
Looking at the Pirelli PZero Nero M&S and the Kumho ECSTA ASX. TireRack also rated the Avon Tech M550 highly but I don't see much talk about them.
I need to get around in the NY area so the tires need to be decent in at least some snow.
Any strong recommendations?
I am sure this question has been asked before but can't find a thread on it.
Thanks.

Got my Falkens from Ganin Tire, www.ganintire.com, their Bronx location. Best prices I've found. They specialize in Falkens and Pirellis. My Falken Ziex 512's were $500.03 including mounting, spin balancing, installation, NY used tire disposal fee, and tax complete with a Road Hazard Warranty and free rotations for the life of the tires. The service I've received from this location has been outstanding.

I agree with you - even if Acura gave me a "deal" on new EL42s I wouldn't take them. Very dissappointing that I have to replace my tires after 25K miles on a $35K car. Acura should be embarrassed.
I called Ganin in the Bronx - guy wants $680 for 4 Pirelli P-Zero Neros - says he is willing to "make a deal" if I order them over the phone and then come to his place to talk.
Will probably just get them at Mavis Discount Tire near me - they have alwys been professional, prompt, and very competitive in pricing.
Thanks for the advice.
