New tires last week and and brakes this week
We'll finally time to put new tires on the 08 TL-S KBP , after reading all the threads here went with the Continental Extreme Contact DWS 235/45/17. What a difference these tires make compared to the Michelin MXM4's the ride is quieter and smoother and dry traction is great. Have not had a chance to try in wet weather yet, it doesn't happen in Phoenix very often but if it's anything like the dry they should be a great all around tire. This week time to put the new brakes on not to sure on this but I purchased a set of Stoptech drilled and slotted for the front since the mechanic said the Brembo rotors did not meet spec's if they were going to be turned. I also picked up some EBC red stuff pads hoping this combination will work well and if so I will do the same for the back tires. Last on the list is a anti-sway bar for the rear does anybody have any suggestions on this? would also like to get this done when they have the car on the lift. If you have any suggestions on the brake set-up or sway bar just chime in....

Assuming you have the stock 20mm (as '04-'06 non TL-S 6spds do...autos are 17mm thick), your best option is the Progress. 24mm thick, adjustable. I've had mine for 2 yrs & won't go back. Helps get the rear around corners.
