New tires!!
hey whats up guys so i ordered 2 pairs of michelin pilot sport a/s tires about a week ago and they finally made it today. i got them mounted and balanced at my local tire shop and wow do they handle well. these tires replaced the original bridgestorm that came with the car new. it is a night and day difference, of course it was raining on the way home and they handled like a champ. i would defiantly recommend these tires to anyone who is looking to replacing there tires for the oem size rim.

The first set of replacement tires I put on my '04 manual TL were Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. I had a set of these on my last car. Then about two months ago, I was up for another set and got the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires. They are very good tires and are very well suited for the TL.. especially the manual with its more aggressive suspension system.

The manual has a little firmer suspension (stiffer springs and shocks), and thicker sway bars. Frankly, you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference and I know.. I have one of each; an '04 manual and an '05 automatic. You also get Brembo brakes up front and an LSD with the manual. One dead giveaway is the recommended tire pressure for the different transmissions.
The manual takes 35psi in front and 32psi in the rear, while the automatic is 32psi all around.

Just bought 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus for my O4 TL AT. Third set of tires, previous two were Bridgestone LS-Z. These tires are fantastic. Took a road trip to the beach house in NJ and its a much better ride. Bought 245/45/17 in hope of better wheel rim protection.
