New struts and tires?
hey whats up guys after getting a oil change today my mechanic told me to get new struts because my tires were getting choppy and are gonna go soon because i wont be able to rotate them because one has a plug.
car is 2007 TLS has 63k kinda low miles for struts to be going already no? bought kumho ecsta or whatever you call em around 49k for 580 aligned these were alright they are summer tires might be looking to get all weather because i do see rain thanks.
my question is what kind of tires and struts do you guys suggest? i was leaning towards oem struts? and some michelins or something

Struts
That is very low miles to be needing struts. I just did mine at 127,000 and used Monroe OEM replacements. I would suggest while your down there an adjustable camber kit for the rear and to just cut your sway bar end links and replace those as well. 6/10 on a DIY scale. Search the forum, i forget who did it but there is a great write up with pictures.

That is pretty low mileage for the oem shocks but it also depends on the roads you travel on.
I sent you a PM about some tires since we are both so cal

If the toe or chamber off, they wear the inside of the tires. Could be tire balancing or Struts. If the chopp all the way across the width of the tires ususally it's a struts. But if only on the inside, outside or in the middle of the tires usually the tire balancing is off. One of the way to check for the strut is look on the strut and see if they any oil or grease on the struts. The other way is, push the car down a few times and let go. The car shouldnt bounce more then a couple of times. That's really low miles for a blown struts. Because they usually last longer then that, but also it depend of the road and your driving style.
