Hey everyone! I just picked up my '02 TL Type S rim the other night from being fixed. I hit a pot hole last year, and finally brought it to be repaired, and the place did a perfect job.

The cost: $75

I think spending $75 to get your rim fixed is better than spending $250+ for an entire new rim. They really did a great job. I mounted the rim and tire on the car, and it's great!

So if you're in the Long Island/Queens/NYC area, and are looking for a place to fix your rim, give them a call. They had it done within 3 days.. very quick!

One extra precaution about repaired wheels...
Since heat and pressure was used to repair the bent wheel, the wheel is not exactly the same as it was originally. In fact, there is a good chance that the repaired wheel is weaker or is easier to bend.
