need some opinions on wheel colors for NBP
for those of you who has aftermarket wheels installed on your NBP, what is the general preference on wheel color? I don't like chrome wheels. I'm just considering either black or gunmetal/hyperblack. Also, if you can, post a pic of your ride.
thanks

Here's the Netz on NBP
My car (I know.. I need a drop but the pics may help this guy)
I also like the Ruff 281's if your seeking a similar look with a larger lip (2.5 vs. the 1.5 of the Netz) and a black center with polished lip. Look for the Ruff's on eBay. Only around $800 for the 19's with black center.

DAMN! I wanted some of those! (Netz) I may have to go with the Maya wheel this summer then. I'm sick of the brake dust though, so I did want a black setup, unless they come out before then with the slotted rotors for the 06 MT. When I had my 03 TL-S, I had virtually no brake dust riding with the same rims I have now on my avatar and slotted/drilled rotors. I miss that minimum cleaning for real! So, slotted and chrome, or regular and Black w/lip. Maya has a Black wheel in the Diamond series as a matter of fact.
Hey ubond007 and TL310: How long does it take you to clean those wheels? They look like they are a bitch to clean!

They are called x05's from XIX same style as netz.
I go black man , cant go wrong with black with a big lip. actually they aint hard to clean just take some wheel cleaner and rinse off most of the dirt and then take a towel and clean them off. like a couple of mins on each wheel i dont have a probelm.

Cleaning them is not that bad. Certainly harder than 5 spokes but worth every effort. I, like a lot of people thought that black on black was stupid but I'm so glad I did it. My friend has a black TL with chrome rims. Looks good but IMO not as good as black on black.

LOL - Go Maya if you can afford it (about $2,800 was the cheapest set of 19x8.5's I could find). So the Netz were about 25% of the price of the Maya STM's. However, there is one guy on here that did get the Maya STM's and he also has a Ron Jon body Kit I believe. Between the two, he spent an extra $5K more than I did for my Netz (but it sure does look good in the Pictures section of this forum)

I probably should've mentioned also, I have a 6MT NBP. I'm guessing the range of wheels that will fit a 6MT is very limited right? I personally don't like chrome wheels on a black car. They draw too much attention. I don't like the bling-bling look. Just my opinion.

b827: Nope, they won't clear the Brembos.
ndabunka: Hell to the naw, I ain't trying to be ballin'!! I just want a nice look, and I saw someone that totalled their TL had the RT5's on. I saw a vendor on Ebay with them cheaper. I want black ones like that though. They said they can make them for all offsets. I'm a fan of the Netz, but I realize that you pay a price to have a 6 MT! I'm also going with a 19x8.5 setup. I cringe at the thought of cutting my A-Spec to accomodate 20's (tho I definitely am not hating!) Is this cut noticeable? I may be tempted to change my mind if it isn't! Lembowski? K-Shawn?
