Need opinions and help on wheels/tires
So i'm going air ride here soon after doing coilovers the first three years I've had the TL. I want to go with a more legit/baller style set of wheels since It will be more of a show than go car now. I really like some vossens especially these http://www.vossenwheels.com/CarGalle...VVS082-42.aspx
I love the black lip and how large it is. The sizes I would get would be 19x8.5 front +32 offset and 19x10 rear +38 offset. I figure with the less aggressive offsets I could tuck more with air while im parking or airing out. so basically want opinions on this setup I know its probably not everyones cup of tea but I'm going a different direction with the car (more towards VIP) also what size tires should/could I run with these? I'm thinking I shouldn't need to do a stretch now like im used to with these offsets. I was thinking like a 235-35-19 up front and a 255-35-19 in rear. thanks guys and gals, heres a pic how it sits now for reference before the air ride and other goodies I have laying around waiting for spring.

opinion:
1. don't know what you mean by the cool bro slang "legit/baller"
2. those wheels you want aren't vip flavor
3. air ride is a cheap imitation of hydraulics
i say leave the car as is is. it looks great and you won't waste some cash on changing things up that you don't need to do

Thanks for no help. For one air ride is not a cheap imitation it cost 5 grand to do and works 10 times better and rides great. Why do you think no one does hydros anymore ? Two I didn't say I was going all out VIP I said I was going more towards show than go. And I apologize for my slang

Your elitist attitude is ridiculous. " I only want opinions from people who have the same opinion as me".
And fyi, you didn't state the air ride setup or offer any specifics so it is assumed you are going as cheap as possible. Have fun airing it out while hard parking like a legit baller yo.

Those Vossens you linked to are hideous (IMO). Your XXR's look a lot better.
btw, Vossens are not what I consider "legit" or "baller". They are very affordable and do not come with aggressive specs for a TL. A $5k set of forged VIP Modular/Rotiform wheels with negative offsets is what I consider "baller".

You oughta hang out on that one website...wheelswap.com or something along those lines, I forget exactly what its called, but it is where people sell/swap high-end wheels. You can search by bolt pattern, and buying $5K rims used for $3K won't cut into your air budget.

so I found a couple more sets used higher priced what you guys think ?

Id go with the Works myself. I actually had a set of 19" Work wheels I sold about two months ago that would've been perfect for you. By no means is it "cheap" to go air suspension. I myself am getting ready to ditch my current suspension and go air. Give these guys a try vrmotoring.com I've bought more than a few set of wheels from them and they do custom work if you want to go aggressive.

I like your ride the way it is as well, but if you insist on changing it up...I would definitely go with 19" for your car. I've always liked Vossen wheels for that concave look, but I don't like any of their models under 20". I think a black rim with a machined or chrome lip would look sick on your ride. I've attached an "Acura friendly" website that has great wheel/tire packages/pricing.

i highly recommend getyourwheels. i just worked with them on a great set of avant gardes, they have awesome customer service and good pricing. however, my wheels didn't clear calipers like they thought so on monday i'm returning the wheels and i'm supposed to get a 100% refund even though it was redrilled to the acura lug pattern. hope it works out OP!
