Need Input On new Shocks for my Lowered Type S
Im lowered with the Tein S. Tech springs. Im thinking im about due for new shocks now @ 40k miles, because the car handles a little more sloppy now. I was wondering what shocks to go with that would accomidate my lowered ride. I dont want to go with coilovers because i dont want to spend a grand, iam more of a sporty driver and would perfer the type-s ride/feel being a little more stiff or even stiffer than what a type s normally is. Can someone chime in and give me pointers?

Well, you could go with new set of OE TL-S shocks or with an A-Spec set.
Or, Koni (either the sport or Nuespeed SP3). The SP3 has more perch settings and is valved more agressively, iirc. The sports run ~$600 - $650 or so, BUT so does the Nuespeed SP3 "super cup" kit which includes race springs, which you can turn around and sell to recover a bit of $$.
Not sure if Tokiko has a TL-S spec shock, but if so, they may have an "OE Replacement" as well as sportier a version.
Beyond that are straight OE replacements from KYB, Monroe, etc.
