Need help - urgent tire rotation question

OK to make a long story short. I own a 2008 TL (bone stock).

I went in to my local dealership to get an oil change and the tires rotated and balanced about two weeks ago. However, a few days later I noticed that the passenger side front tire seemed to have not been rotated (I knew it wasn't rotated because the tire with much more wear was still on the front side of the car, while on the driver's side the tire with the wear was rotated correctly and was now on the rear of the car).

Another words, it appeared that the dealership had only rotated two of the tires - on the driver's side. I'm assuming that the TL rotates simply front to back, with no crossing of the tires.

I took it in the other day to get the passenger-side tires rotated correctly. My question is this.

Are TL tires supposed to be rotated front-to-back, or are the wheels/tires DIFFERENT sizes and are NOT supposed to be rotated in that direction?

I'm concerned that the tires on that side only got rotated that way because I took it back in and complained about it. I'm simply concerned that the wrong size wheel/tire is on the wrong part of the car, and I've also noticed that the car is out of alignment ever since I got the passenger side tires rotated.

Sorry for the lengthy post, and I hope it made sense. Thank you for any help..... I'm paranoid and worried!

BTW, the wheels and tires are still the original ones that came with the car. It's got about 15K miles on it, and it's bone stock.

TL tires are not staggered, so you can rotate as you normally would...

You can rotate them front to back as long as tires are same size. If they are OEM they all should be 235 all around.

Thanks for the response.

Is it normal for them to rotate not just the tire, but the entire wheel as well? I know this was the case because the passenger-front rim had a few deep scratches on it when I accidently hit a curb by an ATM, and that wheel was moved to the passenger-rear after they finished.

When you rotate tires on the TL, you rotate both the wheel and the tire front-to-back?

Sorry again for the questions, and the retarded thread. I just don't want to screw up my car.....

Yep it's a bone stock 2008 black TL; haven't even bought new tires for it yet....

I just know that the front tires seem to wear much quicker than the rear tires.

Thanks for the response.
