Im looking for some 18" Rims for my 2003 tl. I need help cause i have no clue what any of these numbers mean.. the off sets, The numbers on the tires.. I dont want any rubbing and i cant do anything to the body because its a lease. If someone could please help me out and let me know what a good combo of rim and tire size so i wont get any rubbing... for 18's you should look for rims that are 18x7.5 with a +45 offset... the higher the better.... and for tires you should go with 225/40/18 or 225/45/18... the 45 has more tires and protect the rim a little more but will most likely rub more then the 40 series...

check here for the explaination of offset:offset

For the rest, look here:

If you want an 18" wheel, I'd look for a minimum +48 or higher offset. With a +45, you might be looking at minor trimming in the rear. A 225/40/18 with a 18x7.5", +50 offset wheel will work nicely for you.

With the 18's on a TL, on tight turns do the tires hit the inner wheel well? Im also looking for rims for my TL but its not a lease, so i wanna do some body work also. Im from Jersey, and if you ever feel like taking a ride, theres a place called Action Tire on Route 46 in Lodi NJ. It should take you like a hour and a half-they know their stuff there man. maybe they could help you out

nope wont work... shouldnt go wider then 8 and you need ATLEAST +45 offset... dunno many people who run staggered setup on a TL...

Absolutely no way those will fit. 18x8 require a minimum +48 offset. Keep on looking.
