Need Help Please

We need spacers for our new rims on our 6 speed 04 TL any suggestions on where I can get them. I think we need 20mm and can't seem to find them. Will we have to have them custom made?

Buy wheels that have the correct offset and clearance and you should have any problem.

Gee thanks Chad that would be great but we already bought the wheels because the salesperson didn't realize we needed a different offest. Plus we looked for other wheels once we found out they wouldn't fit and didn't find any that we liked for less that 6g's. Anyway the rims are the Axis mod 7s in a 19x8.5 with the maxis lip in the back. That's okay though because I found a guy in Cali that said he could custom make any spacer that we needed so hopefully that will work.

exchange them, he's supposed to give you a product that fits. you may have to sacrifice the maxis lip in the rear tho. Thats why deep dish wheels are hard to pull off on a fwd, the caliper clearance is difficult to pull off with a dish. Don't go over 5mm wiht he spacer if you decide to go that route. Have a ruler on hand and measure how much more clearanc eou need. but i wouldn't suggest spacers.

We are not getting just spacers they are more like wheel adapters so they will be hub-centric. The man in Cali seemed pretty confident that they would be fine. We are not having problems with the deep dish in the back. It is the front brakes that we are having the problem with.
