you need at least a 40 offset due to the brembos. I'd go with 18's or 19's at the most. If you did go with 18's you would want a 255/35/19 for 19's or 255/40/18 for the 18's. These sizes are for rims 8.5 to 9 iches wide.

The plain and simple rule is that if you want performance, you have to PAY for it. The Volk 19" wheels will run you about $2600 to $3,500 for the set and then you get the honor of adding abother $800 or so for the tires themselves. The Privat Netz a number of us have put on our cars are only a couple of pounds heavier than the stock 17's so they aren't a bad choice and the performance loss can be mostly made up with a CAI (Taht's what I did anyway). Total cost for mine (including CAI and tires) was around $1,600.

It looks like a possibility but others have not been able to do so. You have to remember that this is the internet and you can post anythign you like. A few of the guys who have the 20's say "no rubbing" in that same thread but then you find out later that they either (1) had to roll fenders to get it that way or (2) had to shave the tires themselves or (3) Had to move to a skinner tire like a 225 or (4) had to raise the car or (4) It only rubs when you turn the wheel "full lock" or... I think you get the idea. Not everyone's concept of "no rubbing" is the same. As an example, there were a few kids on here that were claiming that they were running 22's with 255/30's and NO RUBBING. Of course, the physical dimensions of 22's loaded with that rubber would not physically fit in the wheel well (with the wheel itself turned "full lock") but that didn't prevent them from say it did not rub. Maybe they removed the rubber skirts that protect things? Who knows. You could always try to PM ray.ruiz to get the final details on how he prevents his 20x9's from rubbing

I am running 20x8.5 with a 42+ offset and 245-30-20 tires and they do not rub even when wheel is turned full lock also tires.com recommends these same tires if you want to run 20"s on at tl and not have them rub without rolling the fender

Sorry about that, I meant to say a few guy with 20x9's or 20x9.5's or 20x10's (in the rear)... those are the ones I question. Yep, 20x8.5 seem to be fine with the right offset.

255/35/19 is not the optimum size....

245/35 is.....if you want a 255 you would go to a 30 sidewall.

The best rim size to achieve that goal would be..................suprise! the stock 17".
You can go larger, but you will need to spend alot of cash to keep the weight down. more unsprung weight, or more importantly larger rotational inertia will be detrimental to the acceleration, braking and cornering of your vehicle.

some light weight 18" might be cool if you are worried about weight if it is speed you want save up another 1500 and buy a supercharger especially if you figure really light 18"s will run you about 2500.

No rubbing no problems..........had to do a little altering, like the rear arches & the rear Aspec kit. I give the setup if you do the install the right way.
