Need feedback on coils...
My main objective with my 3G is to bring it down quite a bit. I don't intend on really racing it on the street or on a track. So after a little bit of searching I had my heart set on D2 SL coils because they come with the adjustable sway bar links, are 36 way adjustable, and have about 3in. of drop.
But I'm seeing a lot more people on Teins, Buddy Clubs, and Function & Forms. Any drawbacks from the D2's? I'd like to stay in the $1,500.00 ballpark.

I don't have any personal experience with D2's, but I love the options from TEIN, and our pricing on them is crazy low right now. If you want independent spring preload/ride height/damping, you could also look into our XLR8 ISC coilovers. We have a spring sale on them for $799 and they have all the great features including 32 step damping.
I personally have a set of the ISCs on my own vehicle and love them. I've had them for about 5 years now without any issues.
