I have car ADD
iTrader: (6)
i say neither
but of those choices, nitto 555 are good tires...
i would look more at
Falken FK452
Dunlop Sport SP Maxx
Goodyear Eagle F1-GSD3
but thats are just my opinions
i always give my friend sh*t because he buys the cheapest tires money can buy, for his lexus... tires are the most important thing in the world. hes always pulling up with like some k-mart brand tires for $61 a piece
not to say those tires are cheap ones, but sometimes its worth spending a few extra bucks for really good tires

I have the Kumhos in 255/45 17s. I went oversize for rim protection and appearance. They're my second set of Kumhos. I bought the first set because I needed tires that day and they were the only OEM size all season tire in stock in the store anywhere in the Louisville area. I got just over 30K out of them. I replaced them with the ones I have now. They have almost 40K, with more left, and I haven't had a rim strike since. They perform reasonably well in the wet and some snow. They look great. I'm very happy with them, although I'm sure you could find a somewhat quieter tire if you are willing to spend more money. Whatever you go with, I'd recommend going up a size or two.

The F1 GS D3 is a summer tire with a very aggressive tread pattern. Supposed to be very good in wet and dry. Will lose performance in cold temps and is NOT for snow - at all.
The F1 AS is the all season "version". Less aggressive design, longer life. Still good in wet and dry, but also in light snow.
There are some Tire Rack tests on 4 of the top performance All Seasons at the Tire Rack web site.

it also helps to make sure your suspension and alignment are good, so no premature cupping/feathering/treadwear will happen. this way will keep your tires as quiet can be.
performance tires won't be AS quiet as a regular passenger tire, but they are pretty quiet.
