My review on the Toyo T1-S

Wassup guys,

so I have driven a total of 500km and have been through all different climates and environmental changes.

-The first day I got the tires it was pouring rain, and my god did I already see a difference. I can launch the car off the line, and hit 5k RPM without ever having the VSA light coming on, something that is impossible with the stock tires.

-Second thing is the ride quality. I have definitely seen an improvement in the ride over stock. As well, these tires stick to the road like glue even when travelling over 80 MPH. When you go over bumps, you can feel that the car no longer has that "floating" feel to it. It goes over each and every bump as if you have suction cups on the tires.

-Handling is second to none. I can't believe I used these shit stock tires for 30k km. I'm so happy with the improvement. I can now take a tight turn at 40 MPH (64 km/h) and not hear my tires at all. No more of that squealing or grinding sound that you get when the tires lose grip.

Overall I am thrilled with this upgrade. I can't wait to install the rotors, pads and SS lines and see how the car stops after that.

I will let you guys know..

Take care.

...I'm still running on the stock tires for now... Was super-close to being able to purchase a new set of tires, but looks like I might have to wait til next spring for the big purchase... I run separate winter tires - just am prob just going to run these OEM tires down a bit more this spring/summer/fall so I can justify the four new ones after next winter....

What's the average kms that the tread will last??

congrats on your new tires. I love how tires can make a world of a difference when it comes to the ride. My summer tires (lower profile) are great with grip but you can definitely feel every bump more, and my all seasons (conti xtreme contacts) are great all around, cushy and great grip! The stock tires suck!

I just put on a set of Toyo Prox. 4's on my car, I went with a 225-45-17. The look great on the car, and handle so much better than the stock tires.

IMHO the T1-S is the best ultra-performance tire on the market.
