My rear feels like its fishtailing on the highway

So I just got my car on the road, have bc racing coils , ingals rear camber, and im on 19x10. The car has been on the road for a week now, when I go on the highway the car seems to fishtail in the rear after a bump. Just the rear, what should I get to stop this. Car has alignment btw. Thanks.

How stiff do you have the coilovers set in the rear? If it's bouncing around the rear will become unloaded.. I suppose if this is bad enough it could make the rear feel unstable. I think "fish tailing" is a very subjective term because when I think of this phrase I think of trying to save the car from spinning around on me.

Did you just put your coilovers on? Probably just need an alignment. Mine did that after i put coilovers on as well. I was going down Storrow Drive when i noticed the ass end swaying side to side after every little wave in the road. Needed an alignment, but the hardware to the arms was frozen and the adjuster wouldn't budge. So, I picked up new set of LCAs along with hardware and had to cut off the old bolts to install the new ones. But, the reason it was all over the place is because the Toe was off.

FYI: I don't know if your car makes it on the alignment rack, but mine didn't. Only shops in the area that i know have low racks is Donovans on Pine St. and Town Fair Tire. Good luck.

If the alignment is good, I would check the RSB and endlinks next.. The links used on our cars are pretty flimsy imo. Doesn't take too much to snap one out of its' socket..

With that being said, are there any endlink upgrade recommendations?

^ I think a lot of members here like the Moog endlinks.

the setup in the back isnt stiff. i have it setup 18 clicks from soft to hard. I dont know if thats the issue. But will see if a few clicks will change that.

Yes, the car "wobbles in the rear" couldnt find a word to describe it besides "fishtailing". The Ingals are new, got them from Heeltoe. Installed them 2-3 wks ago. Thanks for the thread, I read it and thats exactly what Im having an issue with. His are a different make but Im guessing it can happen with any camber.

Thanks. I believe so, might look into more info before I do. Not that its going to cost me anything, but I want to see if its something else before doing an alignment again.

Thanks bro, yes coils are new, and cambers are new too. I did an alighnment right after that with the new wheels. I have my boy do the alignment at my service dept. Since the GTR came in we got the low ramps for cars that are low like ours to put them up.

thanks for the info tho. Lets see what happens.

Going to have alignmet checked, and if its the links which are new also. Might have to look into aftermarket ones I guess.

Think it's the bushings on the ingals camber kit. Lets see what it looks like when I put the car on the lift.
