Okay, I ran out real quick this morning and took a few pictures. They're not great, but it might provide some additional ideas to people about how this turned out. I tried to get some different angles of the wheels so readers could see the hubs, etc. as well. I also threw in a couple of pictures of SOME smaller recent mods as well.

so now that you've had them over a week, whats your initial impression? I'm undecided between getting slotted and slotted and drilled. Just can't make up my mind. Yours look awesome. Some people say that the slotted and drilled will crack, or that they aren't as good, but I had them on my Benz from the factory and they performed excellent. Anyway, let me know, thanks.

There are a lot of myths out there on drilled rotors. I have a thread somewhere with details. The cliffs notes are drilled are fine as long as they're quality rotors like Racing Brake or Rotora. A drilled cheapo rotor will crack.

Okay, sorry for the delay. I was out of town for the holiday and then I've been sick. Anyway, here are my initial impressions after having these rotors on for about 2 weeks now:

1) It should be understood that I replaced the stock pads a year ago with the A-Spec pads and that change substantially improved the braking on the car;

2) Given that I've already been running on upgraded pads for a year, I wouldn't expect a huge noticeable difference in day-to-day driving with new rotors;

3) Braking from freeway speeds is very firm. I notice a significant reduction in fade;

4) I drove from Phoenix to Palm Springs, CA (about 350 miles) and back over the New Year weekend and found high speed braking (75MPH+) on the hills and turns to be very responsive and worry free;

5) I've had one incident of "emergency" braking in a low speed traffic situation and stopped well short of where I might have normally expected.

All that being said - I'm very happy with the upgrade. Will it make your pedal feel more solid in just coming to stop at a traffic light in every day driving? No. Do they inspire confidence that you can hit them hard when you have to and you won't be experiencing as much fade as stock? Yep.

Besides all that, they look really good on the car...can't beat that also.

Nope...no changes to the suspension between pictures. Just the angle; plus the first pictures of the brakes were after I'd just gotten it back from the dealership. The suspension may not have settled back down yet. I've had the A-Spec suspension on the car for about 2 years now.

Where did you have it done, Acura? What was the total out the door cost after all the labor was done?

I think it was about $250 for the install. It's more if they have to turn the rotors at all.

The engine cover - I can't find the vendor anymore, but I did recently see these:

http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/showthread.php?t=794939

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-06...-/260734698005

You might be able to get some contact info from these links.

The pedals - this is where I got the pedals:

Might be a silly question, but would those rotors fit on a type-s? Im not too informed on what the type-s brakes setup are. I know they are brembo calipers but wasn't sure about the rotors.
