Cool MSR wheels opinions needed

Has anyone heard about them?

Are they good or bad quality?

I like the http://americaneaglewheel.com/msr/wh...ail.cfm?id=282 and http://americaneaglewheel.com/msr/wh...ail.cfm?id=251. What do you guys think about them on a Anthracite TL?

Thanks for your input, Mark.

Yeah, I want 18's, or even better the 19's.

Anyone else? How is the quality of the MSR's.

Don't really know about the quality of MSR so I'm not much help to you there......

But I can tell you that I prefer Stype 044 over Style 122. IMHO, the 122s look a lot like BMW M3 wheels (sans logo).... I know that immitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but in this case, again, IMHO, the 122s just look cheap.

I agree as to the Style 122 and M3. They really look similar.

How do you think the Style 044 would look on Anthracite. Is the gray or silver better for that color TL?

Thanks, Mark.

These are just my opinions......

- Silver would look really good.... Still a 5-spoke like OEM, but with a more 'personality'.

- Just say NO to chrome It doesn't belong on the TL.... A chrome lip, sure 100% absolutely.... but full on chrome wheels doesn't do anything for the car but take your eyes away from the great lines in the profile.

- Gray is a tough one... I would think you'd want to see the wheels in person to be sure they match/compliment the Anthracite. There have been a few posts of people with Anthracite wheels (Axis, I think) on Anthracite and it looks pretty good.

Personally, I think the 2004 18" gunmetal A-Spec wheels look absolutely sick on Anthracite.

SSH's Anthracite with gunmetal A-Spec

I think the closest OEM wheel right now, since they discontinued the '04 A-Spec wheels would be the 'Silver Sparkle'. Not as much gray/black, but to me, the 'Hyper Black' might be a little too 'blingy'.

Acura OEM Choices

Good luck with your decision......

Thanks for your responses guys. Keep them coming.

I like the A-Spec gunmetal wheels, but do not want to spend new money and cannot find any used ones.

I can get the MSR 044 for under $525 shipped for a set of 4 which I thought was a steal. Unless, they are poor quality. That is why I was hoping someone would have some input on quality of those wheels.

Decisions, decisions....
