Hi guys I just got myself an 04 Aspec and it came with a set of the 18" 8.5 wide rims. Now, each rim has a 360 degree curbrash and other damage- in short they need LOTS of work.

Below you will see a picture of the same color car I have but the rims I have appear to be darker and more gunmetalish color. Any idea what the OEM color code is so I can get it matched after I work on the rims for a bit? Any tips on how to resurface these myself prior to paint? and what other color would look good on these rims pianted? keep in mind the color of my car

since its an 04 I belive its only one color available?

I have a set of the original 2004 A-Specs and they are Gunmetal. Unfortunately Acura doesn't have a code for the color.

Buy the Dupli-color Scratch Fix 2 in 1 - NG GM 435 Light gray metallic. It's a damn near perfect match.

Honestly I think gunmetal is the best looking color on the A-Specs period. I'm having my wheels powdercoated at the beginning of next month and I'm having them done a few shades darker than the current color so they should look more like the Type-S wheels.

If you don't want to stay with gunmetal, I would just do silver. It would give a nice contrast between the car and the wheels. Just my

The dealer in my area has a program where they will restore a rim to original condition, or close to it, for $99. Maybe you have a dealer in your area that will do the same.
