Michelin Pilots replace Bridgestone Potenzas for all new TL's

I was at the Acura dealer in Vancouver this week and noticed all the new TL's coming in had Michelin Pilots. The rep confirmed that this change was made mid year, an upgrade over the previous Potenza tire.

Not sure if this is the case in the US as well.

The Potenzas came on the 6MT dynamic package. 5ATs had the Turanzas.
Do the 5ATs get the upgrade or just the dynamic package and are these Pilot All Seasons or summers ?

Acura stopped buying the El42s and now are putting them on cars until they run out. One weird think was that my car came with the Falken Ziex 512E from the dealership

I was back in the dealer today and can confirm that ALL new TL's (Navi, 6 speed, AT) have Pilots. The rep told me this was std on the car now.
This could be Canada only?

If you're getting Falken 512's on your new car straight from the dealer, consider yourself lucky. They're superior to the EL-42's in every way, especially on wet roads.
