Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tire

Has any yet bought or have any experience with Michelin's new Pilot Super Sport Tires? I need to replace my summer rubber and am considering these. There isn't much on Tire Rack or elswhere in terms of feedback (no survey results), so I thought I would ask here on AZ. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...ay.jsp?type=MP

Over priced over rated. If money is no object and don't have the time to look at other tire manufactures by all means buy them. Like many say "Michelin tires are Michelin tires" you know what your buying..

Money is always a concern, but believe I have found a good deal on them. Really want to repurchase my Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, but haven't found a good deal on them and my understanding is Goodyear has discontinued them. Am looking at 255/40 R18 and Tire Rack has marked them up to $297 from $262 just 45 days ago. Also Michelin has UTQG of 300 and GY is 280.

How does $218 sound? Plus there is the $80 rebate.

I'm running 245/35/19 Pilot Super Sports on my 07 Type-S. very sticky, very sporty handling. Can't really make good comparison to other similar tires as these are the first tires like these I've had...but they are much sportier than the OEM AS tires that came with the car. I like them

#1 of tirerack, #1 on consumerreports, rave reviews on everysite I have seen. I have them on and they are amazing. Costco has the best price I have seen around got a set of 4 installed for just over $900. Very sticky, fairly quiet, very comfortable. Found that a few extra pounds of PSI on these tires makes a big difference in performance. (Y) rated tire with 30,000 mile warranty, haven't seen that before.
