The PSS are the replacements for the PS2s. Plus why would you just want 2 when you need 4?

Any particular reason for not rotating them since you're on the stock size?

Depends on how you drive and whether you rotate or not.

My PS2 lasted over 30K miles... and they normally last between 15K to 20K.

Now the PSS guarantee to last 30K, so, with my driving condition, I guess I wouldn't be surprise to see them last till 40K

Pilot Sport are by all reports one of the best all around summer tires ever. They have a lower mileage rating/warranty because of the softer summer only compound, not because 'they suck'.

Ok, ok, maybe I should have specified LOL. Those suck in terms of "bang for ur buck". For as expensive as they are. You can get pretty close quality for cheaper, especially mileage wise.

Maybe I shouldn't have said they suck like that, I'm PMSing and very short todayLMFAO.

you dont judge a tire and say it sucks by how long it last.....the reason people spend 200 bucks on a tire most of the time is not for the mileage...its for the performance

I know, my husband is in management at a national tire/wheel retailer. Infact, i probably know a whole lot of useless information on them, which im not exactly proud of lol...Performance is important but when you are talking about a $250 tire who's performance is only a teeny tiny tad bit better than another which is significantly lower in price it's not exactly economical. I have actually had them put on a civic I once owned, and I can tell you I'd never purchase them full price. For that price you can go with continentals.

And George, I just double checked, I was correct with the 30,000 miles. I checked the website.

Lol. Saying a tire sucks because of its tread life is like saying the TL sucks because a Toyota Prius gets better gas mileage.

And before you start comparing value I will tell you that I've now owned both Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's and Continental Extreme Contact DW's. There is no comparison between them. The PS2's absolutely rock the DW's in terms of performance.

I think they discontinued it because you made a review of them.

I've only had the PSS for a couple of hundred miles, but love them so far. Replaced Michelin Pilot Sport (not the AS version). Better turn in, significantly quieter and no tramlining (I ran these veeerrrry long).
