Measurements of stock 3G TL AT/6MT ride height?
I wanted to know if someone can provide this data - I did not take any baseline measurements of my ride height pre-install and wanted to verify the amount of drop I received with my Eibach pro-kits and also if indeed the fronts are higher the rear by default on 6MT and AT.
As perviously stated in another thread Eibach does not have these numbers for the 6MT pre or post install since they did not test fit the Pro-kits on a 6MT TL.
This info will help in determining if what I have now is typical ride height with these springs.
thanks

Remembered these from awhile back:
F: 27"
R: 26.875" (26-7/8")
Metric?...this is the USA! We use the English system!
Jk...if you want metric (mm) multiply the numbers by 25.4.
Hope this helps...
(measurements: ground to fender...right down the center of the wheel)

Pretty sure that's from the ground to the fender lip; which is easier and more accurate.

So here are the baseline (OEM) factory measurments from Eibach's data sheet:
OE
front l/r - 380mm/382mm
rear l/r - 363mm/367mm
These are the measurements post install with the Eibach Pro-kits installed on a AUTO 3G TL.
*note they never tried them on a 6MT TL.

Eibach
front l/r - 356mm/357mm
rear l/r - 340mm/344mm
Do these numbers look right? Why are the fronts sitting significantly higher then the rear and they be ok with that result themself?
Can ppl with the pro-kits installed on TLs put your numbers to verify? I'm especially interested in 6MT TLs with pro-kit springs
thanks

Well, they're "OK with it" because, according to their measurement, it's a 1" drop all around.
You'll never convince me though that a stock TL sits 0.6" taller in front than the back.
If that were true, then with H&R springs, my front should sit 0.5" taller than my rear (H&R fronts (supposedly) drop 0.1" more in front that back). But I don't. I measured them. The front is DEFINETLY not higher.
(Wish I could find that original post - ) (Problem is I don't remember where the "before" measurements came from and I cant't confirm it. The "after" I can just walk out and measure if I doubted the old post.)
