In the market for coilovers, Q about F strut tower

Greetings all. I'm going the coilover route instead of springs based on the what I've read so far.

Ive narrowed down my choices to 4 which are:

Ksport
BC
xlr8
Tein SA

I was about to pull the trigger on the xlr8 until I saw a pic of a members install where he had to drill a hole in the front strut bar for the damper knobs to fit which turned me off. I like keeping things intact and as factory as possibe.

Question is out of the coils above, which ones don't need the strut bar drilled out to fit the damper knobs?

Why did you rule out springs?

none of them need holes drilled in the front strut bar.
it takes 5 min to take off the front strut bar, some people drill those holes so they can skip that step.

if you get your damping level set to what you want, you probably won't touch it again anyway

Looking for even gaps, or lack there of all around.

^^Exactly. If you want to keep the stock look but have access to the adjustment knobs of your coil overs you can get a strut tower bar from fast line. They look factory but have a open top like other aftermarket bars.
