Lowest offset up front?

looking to change my lips for my front wheels. currently the wheel is 19x8.5 36 offset with a 1.5 inch lip..im looking to add a 2" lip which then will bring the offset down to 23.3 and wheel would be at 19x9..my rear wheel will stay at 19x9.5 with a 26 offset...does it make sense with the lower offset being up front? has anyone done it?..will it look wierd

It will poke a bit, but with some negative camber and tire stretch it can be done.

wheels are not the same width in the end, so yea that can make sense. But the wheels in the back are only gonna be 3mm more out than the front.

thanks guys...... i'm also thinking about throwing a 3mm spacer in the rear to bring it down to 23 offset..shouldn't be a problem right? i don't think i would need extended studs and plus my wheels don't have that opening behind the face for the hub centric spacer bolts

^ youre going to change the barrels on your front rims to make them wider?? what kind of rims are these isnt that pricey or no?

if you have a narrower rim in front and a wider in back such as your talking about .... to make the fronts flush like the back the offset will have to be lower like you are saying so it makes sense.

if you add a 3mm spacer to the rear then you would not need extended studs... i think around 5mm is the limit you want to go with a spacer and leaving existing studs

3mm really wont be that noticeable though

what size tires you going to run?

Id say 225/35/19 F and 235/35/19 R??

the wheels i have now are 19x8.5 +36F 19x9.5 +26R 235/35/19 all around the outer lip on the front wheel is bent. the width on the lip itself is 1.5" after you remove it from the wheel. i found a good deal on 2" lip.. not only a good deal but it would like good. after the 2" lip the offset would be at 23.3 and i want the rear to be at 23mm just because i want the offset to be lower than the front lol but it looks perfect the way it is now. front tires after 2" lip and 3mm in rear.. i might run 235/35/19 in front and 245/35/19 if its possible ..if not it will be doing 225/35/19 F and 235/35/19 R.. in the mean time while this is getting done.. ill be rolling my fenders and dropping the car...yup it hasn't happened YET just don't have the time

I have 19X9.5 all around with +25 offset. No Rubbing and polks out maybe 1 inch. You'll need to stretch the tires. Im running 235's.

Im a little new on here so I can't seem to figure out to get my pics up here yet... but you shouldn't have any issues with your desired set up. Offset is key.

i got 18x9.5 et38 and only rubs in the front when i hit a bump if my teins are on soft. im running 235/40/18 with small spacers in the front for the wheels to clear my brembos. stretching the tires is a must tho to avoid rubbing

talk about some messed up calculations i did lol basically im only adding .5 inches to an existing wheel on the outer lip only so back spacing isnt affected.. new offset after put on the 2" inch lip and remove 1.5" lip would be at 29.65..( old offset - half added width in mm (.25") = 29.65
