Lowering Springs Noob

So i found a totaled TL on craigslist that had the navi disc for sale, so i decided to hit the dude up since my disc is nearly 11 years old.. he ended up selling the car but he still had the navi disc witch im defiantly getting, and Mugen Blue lowering springs, ive done my homework on lowering my car and i decided to set myself to geting H&R springs or Tein-S when i could afford it but if i can get these for the right price ill drop the cash for them.. so the question is has anyone had mugen springs and how reliable are they, he said they are brand new and he only had them on for 4 hours and decided to go with H&R springs, is there anything i should look for, or that should come with the springs? he said he will give me both the 2013 navi dic and the springs for 150, ive seen the mugen springs for 140 brand new so i was thinking of offering 80-100 for both, any comments and suggestions appreciated..

first off, I dont think there are mugen springs for this car, this car was never made in japan.

If anything, he might have meant megan springs. Regardless, why would you want something that someone uninstalled after 4 hours? He must have HATED it to uninstall it so fast

i would be wary on these so called mugen springs.

maybe do a google search for "mugen springs 04-08 TL"

get more information from seller or pass on springs.

Too many unknowns on these springs. Springs are relatively cheap why not just buy the exact ones you want new and call it a day? When I had H&R's on a previous TL I bought them new and I swear it was only somewhere in the 100 dollar range for them.
