Lowering springs
Hey I live in Canada where we get a lot of snow and I wanna get my car a little bit lower not too low and I've been looking into lowering springs because I dont wanna spend too much on coilovers. Any thoughts on if I should do it?

Coming from someone who went from stock to A-Spec to Tein S-Tech to Tein SS, I would recommend saving up for coilovers.
If you don't ever see yourself needing to go lower, settle with the lowering springs.
This was with Tein S-Tech

I picked up a set of Tein Street Basis Z coilovers for a little over $400 shipped. With the work you'd need to take off the OEM springs from the struts and replace the lowering springs, just spend a little bit more and pick up the coilovers. You have the option to adjust the ride high as well. Just my 2 pennies.

Tein S Techs theres absolutely no problems driving in the winter with them. Also depends on how quick they plow your roads.
They're pretty good with clearing the roads here after heavy snowfall so the only real problems driving at a lower height are the chunks of built up snow that occasionally falls down from the mudflaps of other cars. I try to dodge them if I can and most of the time I have good judgement that the car will clear the obstacle but some other times I just clench up and hope for the best. I only deal them a handful of times a season, usually other cars hit them and break them down.
