I want to lower my 04 TL, The question is can I do a h&r spring combo of 1.4 f & 1.3 R on 19x8.5 rims with a 34 offset with 235/35/19 with out it rubbing. I know many will say do the coil overs but Im just looking to find the wheel well gap. if anybody has a about the same setup please post pics. Thanks Jac

your tires are thin and your offset is 34... on an 8.5 I believe the +30 rubs... you should be good hommie

yeah the tires were a lil smaller that what i wanted but it was a package deal already mounted and was a price I could not pass up. I think everything will work out fine and when the tires wear I will do the 245 instead. Thanks Jac

Well have a sort of a problem? I ordered rims about 2 weeks ago. Finally today the rims show up. I was sent a staggert setup,I requested the same size all around but Here's what I got
Front 19x8.5 +34 235/35/19
Rear 19x9.5 +40 265/30/19

I did order the H&R springs and also the A-spec body kits. Hopefully it will all work out and I dont have to send the rims back. If the combo works I will keep them

Any info Please....

You might need to roll the rear fenders because of the tires been 265. Try the wheels with the tires mounted before rolling them. I had the same springs H&R sports with

Front 20x8.5 +32 245/30/20
Rear 20x10 +40 255/30/20

I didn't have any issues in the front but had to roll the fenders on the back. You will still have 3mm more clearance in the back than I did. If your tires were 255 I'm sure you wouldn't have any problems because 255 would give 13mm more clearance than me and that should be enough. Hope this helps and good luck.
