Some people on here think 2in is slammed but its really not that low im probably a litle more than 3in all around.

Pros: Looks way better, better handling
Cons: gotta drive a little slower to dodge pot holes an shit, scraping

Thats it for me

Yeah the biggest cons is the lower you go the more slower you go. So much for performance stand point lol.

Best Pro is the car look better, mean and sexy.

Better look, handles better with sports springs. Need to align the suspension.

Goddard, these cars look SO much better lowered. If you're the kind of person that likes aesthetic mods the best, you're going down the right path!

Lower doesn't always mean better handling. OP, do your own research. It's on this forum. Just use your little fingers and search.

1.5 to 2 inches Max on the TL does improve handling...but I agree if slammed, handling is worse.

i believe any drop over 2in will not only effect handling but put extra stress on your axles causing them to premature fail

Lowering a car is suposed to improve handling of the car by lowering the center of gravity (IE SUV vs a car). But sometimes lowering can negatively impact the handling and drivability of the car.

Lowering cars is mainly done for aesthetics these days with the whole Stance and VIP look with the car slammed. Lowering the car 2 inches is precisely this.

Lowering the car an inch or less will help performance without impacting drivability of the car (slowing down for bumps, dips, driveways, etc). If you couple the A-Spec suspension and Rear Sway Bar (drops only .75 inch MAX) you have a TL that handles WONDERFULLY. Add some bracing and then it's even better!

But Lower a TL 2 inches and then you have a car who's tires are scraping the wheel wheels, can't handle bumps and is harder to drive!

At the end of the day it depends on what you want, form over function or function over form?
