to lower or not?

Hey, I am about to buy a set of 18" Racing Hart C3s for my 99 TL. I'm not too sure I want to lower my car though, due to the image it will project... (I'm not in high school anymore..) But, will a set of 18s w/out lowering look goofy? If the result will be my car sits up like a jeep wrangler, then I'll definitely lower it. Admittedly, my TL has hellacious fender gap, especially up front. I've seen nice cars with rims and no lowering that looked terrible. Should I just replace my springs with a moderate drop? Help me out, it's my next mod!

If you do not want a dramatic drop...go with H&R OE Springs.....that's the setup I have....lowers it about an inch all around....hold up for a pic...

I agree with shimbo - go with the H&R OE's....about an inch drop, not too expensive....and heck, for the improvement in handling you'll certainly be happier with these installed...they've really not made much of a difference in ride quality...it's still very smooth...but they have certainly made a difference in cornering.

what's your offset? if below 45, you may rub.....

what happened to the pic? I can't see it
