Lower my TL on lowering springs
 

well i found a great deal on craigslist of lowering and i was wondering whats the downside and will it be a big affect im lowering it on my stock 17s

If you're lowering it on stock struts and aftermarket lowering springs, your stock struts will receive more wear than they would with stock springs.
This doesn't necessarily mean you will blow them within 2k miles though, tons of people have had lowering springs for a long time without any issues.

Plan on getting an alignment afterwards. What springs are they?

they are m2 performance lowering springs

Never heard of them. I'd skip it. Too much work for unknown used stuff.
