Looking for input on my wheel choices!

Hey guys I was looking in this sub-forum and loved how different everybody's whee choices are. I'm soon going to start looking for new wheels for my 08 TL-S and wanted your opinion on some wheels I've chosen. Also if you could recommend what offset I should get with them to make sure they would clear the brakes and won't rub anything. My favorites I've found so far are Work Emotion T7R, Gram Lights 57C6, or Gram Lights 57CR . I included links so everyone can see the different sizes and offsets I've been able to find are available. I currently am and plan to stay at stock height maybe a slight drop eventually. I was hoping to move up in tire size from stock 225/45/R17 to 235/40/R18. Here are just quick pictures of the wheels as well.

anything at 8.5 width will need to be +30 or lower. if it's +31 to +35 you will need to do a test fit or find someone that test fitted it already because it entirely depends on wheel design.

for 9.5 width, almost anything will fit below +35.

your best bet is to find evidence of someone that test fit it OR call the manufacturer (not vendor) directly and ask for their advice (also know they are not always right so ask if they test fitted it specifically for our car).

for deciding which wheel, also take a look at the weight of the wheels

I prefer the Gram Lights 57CR . The multiple-spoke wheel is so played out on the 3rd Gen, if I get another set it'll be 5-spoke for sure.

I looked in the forums and I couldn't seem to find much on any similar wheels from Work and nothing on the Gram Lights. Is there a post maybe my google skills were unable to find?

sorry i don't remember coming across anything. your best bet is to call the manufacturer and get their thoughts. the brembos on the TL are not like brembos on other cars...in other words, it's very hard and time consuming to get a good stance with wheels that clear the brembos. i spend about 1-3 months of research before deciding on wheels (i'm on my 3rd set now)

I agree with Visual - i think 5 spokes are where it's at - the Enkei RP03's look good imo as seen here on this NSX, if not a 5 spoke - go for a Mesh - classic design
