a lesson learned, please read it might help YOU in the future!

...so, here's the "lesson" if you damage your axle(s), and your car is lowered... put the stock ones back on before taking into the dealership! That's what I had to do to... finally get the damned axles fixed by the dealership w/o paying out of my pocket.

Hrm...I had a similiar problem, but had stock wheels on at the time. They told me it was due to the springs (Comptech). They DID replace it under warranty, but they threw in it would only be done this once.

I know, I remember reading your post, needless to say, they denied me at the local dealership. They were probably irritated that they had to do the work on my tranny replacement and didn't want to deal with my axles especially when I didn't buy the car from them. I bought it at a dealership in L.A. county where my parents live, and they were they one that "hinted" me to put the stock springs back on, then bring the car back. At the point they basically forgot about my car being lowered before (hint, hint).
