Kumho Ecsta SPT - Good Summer Tires?

I have a new set of winters for my car, which is a 2006 TL Auto with factory MT RSB and AT A-Spec suspension on stock 17" rims.

I have now decided to replace the stock Michelins on my car with a set of summer tires: namely, the Kumho Ecsta SPT in a slightly wider size - 245/45/17.

Is anyone running these tires on their TL? Any comments good or bad?

I am hoping that they will considerably improve (i.e. "sharpen") the wet/dry handling of my car over the all season Michelins. The A-Spec suspension & thicker MT RSB have already done wonders, but I also want better grip and steering feel. Can I count on this being the case with these particular tires?

Thanks in advance

I have these in 19's... Very good tire. I had Toyos previously and for the way i drive, they were crap... ruined them in about a year (20k miles)

I like the Kumhos alot and they are not too expensive.... Had them on over this past winter and they did great... no slipping and sliding at all.

How much of an improvement in handling do these tires give you over the all-season Michelins?

i think any high performance tire would be an upgrade compared to the OEM Michelins or Bridgestones. unlike the last guy, i liked the last 2 sets of Toyo tires. Is there a price range for tires you're looking to stay in?

I am looking to spend between $150-200 CDN. I can get these tires for $175 CDN. However, I just found a set of Dunlop SP 9000 tires in the same size on sale for $200 CDN. These Dunlops intrigue me, as they appear to be a much better quality tire than the Kumhos.
