I am at 36k miles, and I think my stock MXM4s really need to be replaced (possibly my brakes too, but that is another story). I am looking at two different tires, in 245-45-17 at tirerack:

1. Kumho ECSTA ASX ($89 per tire + $40 rebate on the set)
2. Avon Tech M550 A/S ($116 per tire)

I would like to hear peoples' thoughts on these two tires. I am not interested in spending more on Pirellis or any of that. In fact, I kind of don't want to put the money into the tires because I may get the 07 G35 when it comes out, depending on what I think of it when I see it in person.

Any thoughts on these two tires would be most appreciated.

neither, try bridgestone's fuzion line instead. we have had pretty good results w/ this tire so far. sell more of them than anything
