Ksport Airtech

Hello! I just ordered the Ksport Airtech Pro kit.
Looking for a few updated pointers from those who have done air suspension and anything I need to keep an eye on during the install.
I will post pictures so don't worry!

where did you get it and how much did you pay? I am going to be ordering this kit next week I think. just been weighing options and which kit to go with. these seem nice for the price. airrunner is great but kinda pricey. I already have skunk2 uppers and rear Ingalls camber kit waiting for install. let me know how this goes!

You may not get a response...most of these guys on here are bag haters cuz they can't flip the coin for the good stuff lol

i ordered through thmotorsports.com They were super helpful in everything. I accidently ordered quantity: 2 ... they called me right away and were making sure I didn't just want 1 haha I ended up paying right around $3500g. I was going to get the deluxe kit but for the extra money, the pro is worth it! I hope to get some positive feedback because I've gotten nothing but negative feedback from those I know who don't even have bags and still talk shit haha whatever

Looking at the pics of the KSport controllers on the thmotorsports website, it looks like there's just an up button and a down button on some kits. It didn't appear that you could just raise the front or rear independently, but I could be wrong. Also, I couldn't tell if there were any height preset buttons on any of the controllers, but again, I could be mistaken since I'm no air ride expert. I really like the AccuAir setups...they have an iPhone app that lets you control the height...amazing!

I wouldn't say he dissed forum members....

I would say ALOT of members have different priorities. My priorities at this moment is buying 5-10+ acres of land, building our dream house, and preparing for our second child due on May 7th.

My days of bags are over (until I find a classic to restore as a hobby/weekend toy), I built my s-10 from the ground up when I was 18 (stock floor body drop, BAGS!!!, custom rear 4 link suspension, fully shaved body-->doors, tailights, front bumper lights, gas tank, radio antenna, etc.).

My TL is where I want it right now...Stanced on 19's with coilovers, a full custom audio system, and clean as f*ck (ALL done by me, with help from azine )

To say people cant afford something when you know no one here, is ignorant. My wife and I have two cars each (Mine: 99 and 05 TL, hers: 02 camry and 06 Caddy SRX) and ALL are paid for. No credit cards, no miscellaneous loans, just a mortgage w/ utilities. We have 6+ months of finances set aside and No, Obama doesnt pay any of our expenses.

just needed to clarify what OP was trying to say ...kthxby

says the guy with 14 posts! I think the reluctance to go on bags is that "most of the guys on here" would like to maintain a performance based suspension system, not an image

its all about priorities! thankfully I am fortunate enough for the Amy to pay for my school and my job/business does really well. I don't have any kids haha some day for sure! And yes I still have to plan bags then haha. I used to be all about performance on my m3 which i traded in for a 330i as a daily and then bought the TL for funzies. Everyone has different things they spend their money on, no need to get on those who spend their money on different things. Props to the 06 caddy, my girls dad has the same and I love it!

^Thanks for what you do. My nephew just joined the Marines and is at Parris Island right now for his training. He will be stationed at Camp Geiger when he finishes training. My grandpa retired from the army (30 years), and my dad served his time and fought in Vietnam. The older I get, the more I understand how important your job is. Its definately not something everyone could do.

And about that Caddy, she got the fully loaded N* V8 for the "fun factor". All I have done to it is added a K&N drop in filter, and added 2 TV's to the headrest after the factory entertainment system quit playing. she wants it quiet so I cant touch the exhaust.

We have had plenty of members bag their cars on here and they receive mostly praise, very little hate. So to say the majority of us are bag haters is just plain wrong. Sure a lot of us do not run airbags on our cars, but that does not make us haters. I appreciate the look and love the way a lot of the bagged TLs in the past have turned out. Probably due to the fact that all of our members on here who have gone the airbag route have great taste to begin with so their cars come out looking amazing.

I was looking into getting the D2 Airbag Basic setup which I was told is the same as K Sport, but I was also told that when the car raises up it comes up uneven, not level. Is this true ? Is it the same for K sport? or just D2?

as far as i know, though my knowledge isn't on an expert level , i believe the reason for the car raising up uneven is because the basic kits do not include ride height presets. So with the Ksport Pro kit, it offers 4 presets so with your highest preset you can have it even after doing all the fine tuning just set it as a preset for speed bumps and other obstacles

good luck man. the install isnt too hard just take your time and make sure your lines are cut straight or you might develop a leak in the future. ive done a few of these installs and this tool http://www.ridetech.com/store/tubing-cutters.html has been the one thats prevented more future issues than anything. id recommend ordering one if you dont already have a line cutter.
