koni super cup kit ?

i have been searching all day and found out a lot about the koni super cup kit. i'm pretty sure i am gonna go with this setup. the only question i have now is wether i want to get the race springs or the sport. i'm gonna be riding on 18"s on 235x40 tires and i am going to want no gap but not tucked, will the sport be a low enough drop or should i stick with the race springs.

how much of a drop is it at the highest perch on race springs?
how much of a drop is it on the lowest perch on sport springs?

Hmm, not sure of the exact #'s but I say get the sport springs and drop the suspension to the last perch all the way around. This setup will defintely give you no wheels gap and possibly a slight wheel tuck up front.also, sport springs are more comfortable than race springs. There is a member on here "ifrhase" (spell check) that has this setup with the race springs and he is nice and even all around but he did note that the setup is crazy STIFF. Not sure what perch settings he was on but search Neuspeed supercup kit and you shall see sumtin on him.

I have the neuspeed suspension setup (sport springs) but I'm on the 2nd to lowest perch up front and 3rd perch in the rear (soon to be 2nd perch I think...lol)

Hope that helps..

do it! definitely need to lower rear by a perch to make the drop look even.

Sounds good! Post up them pictures!! Did you have to cut the bumpstops on your Konis? Also, did you drop it with the 20's, or 18's on?

sweet, I was going to go up a perch in front to accomodate my new wheels. I was wondering how it would look. NEED PICS.

FYI: lower perch all around with sport springs gives you a slight tuck up front and even in the back.

ok, so i just got back from completing the rear drop. car defintely sits even now!! im on neuspeed sport springs set to the 2nd perch up front and lowest perch in the rear. no tuck up front or in the rear. i shouldve done this a long ime ago...lol. now i can finally say im done foolin with the height.

btw, the rear can be done by using some "on the car" spring compressors. i didnt even have to remove the whole strut assembly which made this even more of a plus. i wouldnt try this method on the front tho...

ok, i snapped a few pics for the 6MT guys as the stance is just about the same....the lighter front end depicts this on the 6MT base models....see for yourself (sorry for the crappy lighting and pic quality)

i would say this is the LOWEST you can go on the neuspeed supercup kit (sport springs) while achieving an EVEN stance (not raked).

thanks.

im not running one and I'm fine. Justin (and now Carrie) is lower than me and he doesnt have one. just get a good alignment. If you do get camber wear on your tires, you can just get them flipped so the camber worn side is on the outside.

here are some recent pics of my tl riding on hr sport with koni sp3 combo. im currently on the 2nd lowest perch on front and lowest perch on rear.

I've been rubbing in the front a lot . i think its bc i'm riding on 20's.

i'm gonna raise the front to the middle perch. i think that will level out my ride evenly.
