Koni Sport Shocks on OEM Stock Springs
Has anyone installed Koni Sport or Koni SP3 on OEM Stock Springs? What was the outcome in overall drop height/handling?
I've done searches and can't find much information on this. I know the SP3 has 5 perch settings and the Sport has 3, but do the Koni SP3's let you set the car at a lower perch setting than the Koni Sport?
I'm looking for about a 1" drop tops and want to keep a nice comfortable ride. I've heard this setup gives about an inch but there has never been an official thread talking about it that I could find.
I would think that the ride would be similar to A-Spec suspension but using a stiffer shock rather than a stiffer spring as A-Spec springs are stiffer than OEM's. Pictures and input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The lowest spring seats on the Koni Sport is at the same location of those on SP3. However, the SP3 also has other benefits, such as slightly firmer valving and also 20 mm shorter piston rods. You'll get about 14 mm (0.6") drop if you lower the spring seats all the way.
If you compare it with A-spec suspension, IMO stock springs on Koni SP3 will outperform it and you'll still retain the nice ride quality but a little firmer.

Has anyone actually done this yet? Guess most people are more interested in dropping their cars 1 to 2 inches usually. I'm interested in losing a finger gap or so but really do not want to deal with alignment issues (camber/toe) that comes with it that I had with my DA integra that I previously owned which had Ground Control and KYB AGX front/GR2 Rear along with Ingalls camber. The ride was never that great but then again, KYB's weren't that great.
