Koni Orange good OE replacement?

Looking to replace the OE shocks on the wife's 07 TL-S. Been looking at the Koni Orange STR.T shocks as a replacement with stock springs. Tried to talk her in to an adjustable shock like the Koni yellows (Sport) but she's not interested. She's wanting an OE ride maybe slightly improved. Is this a good route to go? the price is great at $309.12 shipped and with a lifetime warranty. I can't imagine i could go wrong with these. Any input?

I'm considering the same shocks, but I'll be using Tein S.Tech's, so I'm also considering truhart shocks. I found the koni srt.t on tunersports.com for $297.12 shipped with their memorial promo code.

Koni Orange or Yellow will be a great replacement shock. They are sportier shock compared to stock, but will be fine with either a stock spring or lowering spring. We highly recommend them.

I put the Koni orange on a few days ago with Tein S.Tech springs and they are working well so far. Much better than the function and form type 1 coilovers that they replaced.

Hi guys. I am looking for same nice struts. I want to have a bit harder and lower suspension.
Also will be nice when new kit will be "plug&play"

I have 2 choices
KONI Str.t 1125-1115 kit and Tein gsa80-8uss2

Which one are more easy to instal?

Other question. What is the difference between gsa80-8uss2 and gsa80-1uss2?

Do you know any stores with good prices with shipping to Germany?

Koni orange is just a shock. It won't affect ride height if you pair it with stock springs. Koni orange shock bodies are also the same length as stock. So...the only reason it works with lowering springs is because the damper force is more agressive. The available travel is still quite limited. The paint finish on Konis has always been absolute garbage. So they'll rust. But they're good shocks either way. I would probably opt for the Koni yellow (sport) than the Orange.

Teins should have slightly more travel due to their shorter shell. Not sure how much shorter it actually is. Nice thing is that they use shocks matched with the springs they come with. Also, the corrosion resistance is amazing. I would buy whichever Tein kit has adjustable damping (Street ADVANCE Z). Pretty sure the Tein is TUV compliant?

What are you doing in Germany with an Acura?

In that case, I will go to Tein. Tuv is not compatible but it is not a problem, because I live in Poland. It is allowed with us. Why Acura? Because it's a prettier version and with a better engine than the European Accord. Greetings

They don't, but in Poland many companies import cars from the US.

You have to re-use your stock tophat assemblies and bumpstop washer.
