Koni install, help.

I will be installing koni yellows on my type s tomorrow after work. The instructions make me want to throw up. I have s techs so don't want it any lower so I will leave it at the top perch. But what's the deal with that white plastic piece, it looks like the inlet has to be widened to fit over the shock? I also heard something about drilling out the stock bushings. Any help appreciated, just doing the fronts for now and I used to be a tech so I'm not too concerned but wanted some insight before I start, thanks.

It's pretty straightforward. Use the 3G TL DIY section. Yes the shaft is bigger so the OE rubber bushings need to be enlarged a bit.

Got it all finished in a couple of hours. Pretty easy actually. Just make sure you have a good drill and your good to go. The Koni's have much better control than the stockers, happy with the purchase.

Good job! Yea, I did my Koni and realized the tophat bushings needed to be drilled out. After that it was smooth sailing! The difference is night/day.
