To keep or not to keep
So last week I went on a hunt for G37 rims, sports edition.
I found a set for sale on craigslist. The guy did not have any pictures but stated they were G37 rims. I set up the time to meet with the seller. We met, and I looked at the rims and they seem different. Any how, I purchased them. Later I discovered the wheels I got, were not the ones I was looking for. The ones I have are from a G37 X, which are the all wheel drive edition, 18's instead of 19's.
So I ended up installing them on my car, just to see how they look. They don't look bad, but I'm not sure if I want to either sell them or keep them. So I wanted some opinions from you guys. Thanks for your input.

perhaps i'm biased. i ran g35 forged rays for a short while...but got tired of the look after a few months. they weren't bad wheels, just not something i wanted permanently.
OP, if you can sell these for $900 i say go for it. use that money to get the 19's you really want down the line.

For what it's worth...if you had a nice drop, the whole look of the car + wheels would look different than it does now (in a good way). The fanciest set of Volks/Works/etc. on a stock-height TL will look blah.

Warning to all.
If you think "dipshit" is funny....I don't. There is no need for that kind of a comment, Dingo.
The next time this kind of thing happen, maybe you'll think that a One Week Ban will be funny too.

there are very few other stock rims that look good on a TL and those are not one of them....
I say sell them and make a few $ they just look odd

I've decided to get rid of them. They do look good imo, but I feel as if I'll get tired of them quickly. Thanks for all the inputs, more are welcome.
ew.. I don't like those!

I like the current wheels but I wouldn't have picked them. Sell them and get another set

They look nice. If you like something better, and can sell these for a profit, Go for it.
I prefer 19" wheels the most. I have had 17", 18", 19" IMO.
Its up to you brother
God Bless

Not bad!
Paint them gun-metal and add a drop would look nicer.
But as said, sell them and get those 19"s.

Guy's I ended up getting the real G37 TYPE S RIMS..
i will have pics up later today.
Thanks brother.. I just came out of pocket and dropped 1200 on some G37 19's. I hope I can sell the 18's so I can replenish my bank account lol.

Here is the new set up!
Looks great, however I'm getting vibration on my steering wheel between 55-80mph.
I got the tires balanced and the vibration still continues. Anything under 40 is sweet.. I'm confused.

Can a bend or a crack cause this vibration?

+1 on the possible addition of hubcentric rings. I know a couple of others have been experiencing vibration issues with aftermarket rims, see DatDereTL's thread, which has a lot of info on possible fixes. However, he is still trying to figure out what is causing his vibration, but you may find something that cures your issue. How old are the tires? Also, when was the last time you had your alignment checked?

Personally, I think they look nice, but definitly need to delete the center caps. Also, a lower stance would improve the look significantly, but that's just my .

Thanks for the input. I ordered the hubcentric rings. I'm hoping it resolves my issue. I did change out the tires in the rear. They were out of round really bad.
