Just Put Base Suspension on Type S

So Ive had my 07 Type S for over 2 years now and i love it. The only thing that bothered me was how stiff the suspension was. I drove the base models before I got it and really liked the ride. Anywho, I finally pulled the trigger and put base suspension on it. Found some used ones on the blackmarket for 100 bucks. I have heard that the type S has additional suspension stuff such as the anti sway bar and bigger strut bar. Maybe this created the happy medium , but I feel like I have a new car. I dont notice much difference in body roll during turns, so I feel like it was a win, win situation. The body sits about 1/2" higher, but its not very noticeable. I also bought a set of axles a year ago because i had a VERY small vibration in the steering wheel, but never put them on because i figured it was the tires getting old. Well, I put those on and vibration is GONE! My steering is unbelievably smooth now. Even my breaking is smoother. Im kind of wondering if the lower suspension of the type S allows the nose of the car to dip too far during breaking and causing a toe change. Either way, Im one happy TL owner!

With raised ground clearance and the axle vibration, the previous owner probably lowered the vehicle as the base and both TL-S 5AT and 6MT all have from the factory ground clearance of 5.9".

Maybe. I think the springs were sagging. It would explain the rear camber issue I had before.
